MN Swap Meet Privacy Policy

MN Swap Meet (the "app") is a marketplace for buying and selling parts and machines at powersports swap meets, operated by MN Swap LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email us at events@mnswapllc.com.
Information we collect
Account information. You can browse the app without creating an account. When you sign in, we collect the information needed to identify your account. If you sign up with email, that is your email address and password (we do not see your password in readable form). If you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address as provided by Apple or Google, which may be an Apple private relay address. Even before you sign in, the app creates an anonymous ID for your device so your activity stays connected if you later create an account.
Booth and listing information. If you are a vendor, we collect your booth name, the swap meets you attend, your booth and row numbers, and the listings you post, including item names, descriptions, prices, vehicle details, and photos. Booth and listing information is visible to all users of the app.
Messages. We store messages you send and receive through the app's in-app chat so that you and the other person can read the conversation.
Saved listings. If you save listings, we store which listings you saved.
Photos. The app asks for access to your camera or photo library only when you choose to add a photo to a listing. We receive only the photos you select.
Notification token. If you allow notifications, we store a device token so we can send you alerts, such as a new message.
Purchase information. Vendor access is a paid subscription handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive the status of your subscription (for example, active or expired) through our subscription service provider, RevenueCat.
Technical information. Like most apps, our service providers may collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system version, and app version to keep the app working.
We do not collect your precise location, and we do not use advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
- To show booths and listings to other users and let buyers and sellers message each other.
- To provide and verify your vendor subscription.
- To send notifications you have allowed, such as new message alerts.
- To keep the app secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the app, and only as needed to provide their service:
- Google Firebase for sign-in, our database, photo storage, and push notifications.
- Expo for delivering push notifications.
- RevenueCat for managing subscriptions.
- Apple and Google for sign-in options and for processing subscription payments.
Information you post in listings and booth details is public to other app users. Messages are visible to the people in the conversation. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
How long we keep information
Listings expire automatically after 90 days unless the vendor renews them, and photos are removed when a listing is deleted. We keep account information and messages until you ask us to delete them or your account is deleted.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can edit or remove your listings and booth information in the app at any time. You can sign out at any time, and you can turn off notifications in your device settings. To request deletion of your account and the personal information associated with it, email events@mnswapllc.com from the email address on your account. We will process verified requests within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what information we hold about you or to correct it, and you can make those requests at the same address.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reputable service providers and standard safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or transmitting data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
